Over to the Sandwich house and Rhys and Lou propped up some of the sagging decking and levelled some of the ground where timbers were rotten and laid the turfs. They then filled cars up with rotten wood and things for dump runs! We’d never be able to do all this without them.

In the evening we met Shirley and Steve and went to The Bell in Minster…it has closed down!! So instead we went to the New Inn.
I had monkfish which was very good. I think the others enjoyed their food too. All was well until the bill came! They had overcharged us for THREE drinks. We told the waitress and she laughed and then just went away to alter it. We got the impression that she thought we wouldn’t notice.She lost her tip!
