We took Ellie to Kearsney Abbey. It was cold but she loved it. I have upped her YuMove tablets and she was running around all over the place, through the woods and of course jumping in and out of the stream. The tablets are obviously working!
Back home and Mal started cooking the roast, he seems to have decided he is going to do it every Sunday.
We watched Hammers playing in the snow followed by the Man U game. We then watched the end of the Pet Show. It made us laugh as Mark (from the Chasers) took his goldie on their agility course. A typical goldie, food led and he wouldn’t move until he had found all the food. Not the fastest on the list!
Thought for the Day – “Remember sometimes the smallest things in life have the biggest meaning.”
My third visit to Maxillofacial. I told Doc Anna how bad I felt last week. She told me it may be the anaesthetic and so would change it, which she did. She also said it is the amount she uses and adrenaline of me sitting in the chair with my mouth open for so long. I had sat in the car park considering whether or not to go in or to go back home!
Thankfully it wasn’t as bad as last week but she is now saying my gums haven’t healed properly following my extractions and is wondering why!
A quiet afternoon when I sat and watched a film. Mal went to the allotment to grab more wood chips!
Today Josie has tested positive and so she is isolating in her bedroom!
Thought for the Day – “While it may seem small, the ripple effects of small things is extraordinary.”
I went to Birchington Butchers having ordered 5 kilo of chicken breasts from him. I also bought some cards in the card shop there, they have really nice ones and it is an independent shop, which I prefer to support.
Mal went to the allotments and a load of wood chips had been delivered so he managed to get a lot for my allotment.
Spurs lost their game in the evening!
Having been invited to Rhys’s for Sunday lunch, they then got in touch to say Oscar had tested positive for Covid! So he was isolating in his bedroom, they were all wearing masks and testing twice a day!
Thought for the Day – “Never mind what others do; do better than yourself, beat your own record each and every day and you are a success.”
