A very good day at Demelza as we sold two wedding dresses, that has really boosted the takings. We have so many men’s suits and so it was decided that they would all be reduced to £5!! Crazy, there were even new Pierre Cardin suits. Such good value so I bought one for Mal!

Lou, Ollie, Oscar and Josie came round for Sunday lunch.

Back to roasts rather than BBQ’s now the weather isn’t so warm!

We finished lunch, cleared up and then the kids wanted Lou to see their sections down at the allotment. They get really excited and did some more weeding and picking.

It was such a nice morning Mal and I took Ellie to Minnis Bay.

Paula and I then went into Margate as she wanted to go to Dreamland. First of all we had to go and see Alex Chinneck’s twisted post box.

Dreamland next and then on to Turner Contemporary to see the exhibition of entrants for the Turner prize. Mmmmmm, not my idea of art but who am I?!

We arrived home just in time to watch Spurs. Of course followed by Strictly!!

Mal and I walked Ellie and we had a meet up with about 7 other dogs, they all played by Gazen Salts chasing around.

Back home and Paula decided she didn’t want to go food shopping so I went on my own. She stayed at home and shortened some curtains for Lou.

It rained on and off for most of the day.

Mal and I took Ellie out in the drizzle and we were amazed how many mozzies there were flying around and biting us. Surely it is time for them to go?!

Paula and I went into Ramsgate as she wanted to go into her favourite shoe shop.

In the evening we watched the film ‘Yesterday’.

My dentist had referred me to a consultant at William Harvey Hospital. A long way to go which surprised my dentist as well as she said she thought I would be going to Deal not all the way to Ashford.  Mal came with me and I spent all morning with my mouth being poked and prodded and “more detailed X Rays”. Not pleasant and finally the consultant came to talk to me. I didn’t like him at all. I have a programme which they will send to my dentist and a copy to me. This includes two sessions of deep cleans under anaesthetic. ……I can’t wait!

Back home, a late lunch and then Paula wanted to go to Deal. We went around a few shops and then she wanted to go to the minor injuries at Deal hospital, as she has a lump on her back.  So, most of my day was spent in hospitals. Great! Mal had cooked dinner by the time we arrived home. I had a very sore mouth from all the prodding.

Excellent news from Tariq that he is in the top three on his Mountain Leader course and so is selected to go further. I believe at this point I shouldn’t say too much but we are all very proud of him. I think it may be making fires in the snow…….Lol!!

I went to see my counsellor in the morning and then met Rhys for lunch. We had a good chat.

Later I collected my friend Paula from the train station as she has come to stay for a while.
