Wingham Orchards for our walk, quite squelchy but not so much mud as the previous day! The farm shop on the way home, they seem to be the only place I can buy celeriac.
Mal carried on with the sanding of the door frames.

Foolishly we walked Ellie over the fields . We all ended up covered in mud and Ellie had to have a shower, there were even small stones in between her pads where the mud had stuck. Yuk. She was so good while I was cleaning her and so I gave her a Yak chew. She chewed on it for a long while and then rather than go to sleep, she kept watching to make sure we didn’t take it away!
In the afternoon I met up with the red hat girls and we went to the Vue Cinema to see “Bridget Jones All About the Boy”. Excellent film but it did make me cry, for obvious reasons.
A trip to Kearsney but we are noticing that Ellie is really slowing down but she is still up for a jump in the stream.

Then of course a roll in the mud to follow.
Mal spent a lot of the day sanding the door frames down, dust everywhere.
In the evening we watched the first Bridget Jones film in preparation for me going to the cinema with the Hatters the following day. Hard to believe that was over 20 years ago. I am sure a lot of the content wouldn’t be “allowed” today!
Torrential rain as I left home for work, it didn’t bode well for the days takings and I was right! I don’t think I even used the till until 10am!
The rain did stop later in the day but a lot of miserable people because of the weather! A little sun would help everyone.
The sun was out and so we went to Ramsgate park for a lovely walk.
Back home and actually did a bit of cleaning up in the garden, I haven’t done much at all up until today. I also watched the Luton v Watford game. Luton lost!
I went shopping , mainly for plants and seeds. I hadn’t realised just how many of Wilko’s products The Range now sell. We get Dog Poo bags from there as Wilko ones were the best but today I bought a lot of Wilko seeds. I also bought a couple of hanging baskets.
In the afternoon Hammers were playing Arsenal so Mal suggested I watch Spurs!! We ended up watching both as Hammers beat Arsenal and Spurs won as well…an unusual afternoon.
A walk over the fields and of course, what better than a roll in the grass (and mud)!
In the afternoon us Red Hat Ladies went to see the Police Panto. For the ladies who hadn’t been before I told them just to remember that it is all for charity! Yes, a lot of it is corny/not PC and they also frequently forget their lines but it is fun. I just remember one of the ladies from the old red hat group saying “what utter rubbish !” it was!! I was so pleased that ALL our new group really loved it, taking it for exactly what it was.
It is also nice that the cast remember us every year and give us a mention. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
