The sun was out again and so we had a gentle walk along the river. I still have leg ache and Ellie is also healing , two old crocks!
But Ellie saw plenty of dogs to play with and we also saw the lady whose allotment Mal may be swapping with. I think she is notifying the council this week that she is leaving, which means we can start work on it as soon as they give us the go ahead.
A very good Spurs game in the afternoon. A good result 4-0. Manchester United didn’t go as well!

I made another click and collect collection from Dunelm while Mal walked Ellie.
Lou, Rhys and the kids popped round (outside) to show us their new taxi and brought us some steak and flowers and a lot of organic garlic….that was lovely and lovely to see them even though they stayed outside the front door. I really wish this would all return to normal SOON!
More to do at the allotment in the afternoon.

A walk with Ellie and we called into the post office to post the twins birthday presents. It would be nice to see them as it is difficult to know what to buy them, we haven’t seen them for almost 4 years.
I must say, all the spring flowers are now making an appearance, they look lovely around the town.
Mal went to the allotment, I did very little as I was still very achy and tired.

Another lovely day and so we took Ellie to the park in Ramsgate. There were lots of dogs there and so she loved it. It is overlooking the sea but we didn’t want to take her on the beach as there are too many steps for her until we are sure she can cope with them.
We stopped by Rhys’s favourite house!
I think I must be the 1 in 10, following the vaccine as I started fluey symptoms in the afternoon and couldn’t stay awake”. I was in bed by 7.

We walked to Gazen Salts with Ellie. We saw Chloe , our next door neighbour and chatted to her for ages and then on the way back our other next door neighbours, Louise and Bob and chatted to them. I think after being locked down so long and the weather being nice everyone wanted to talk! It meant our dog walk turned into nearly 3 hours.
Mal went to the allotment and I cleared out the utility room.
