We took Ellie for a long walk, missing the rain.
It was then time to drive into Canterbury as I had an appointment to see the hygienist and also Penny the dentist. Hygienist first and she wanted to clean below the gums. I knew that was what she was going to do but on the last visit she told me should we give me anaesthetic, she didn’t. Ouch! That was not at all pleasant even though I took pain killers. Next I saw Penny and she was pleased with progress since the last visit. I have been referred to the periodontist but there is a long waiting list. I now have a letter for the hospital to have a full facial X ray.
I have been told my gum problems have happened due to stress/trauma. The body is a funny thing.
On the way back home we were really surprised when hail started to beat down on the car. We thought it was Spring!
I left our dinner in the slow cooker. I replaced the old slow cooker we had and this was the second time I used this one. We ate dinner, Mal put the lid into the washing up bowl and it shattered! I didn’t expect that! Mal contacted Amazon and they are sending a replacement. I think that is why we like Amazon so much, never a problem if there is something wrong.
