We took Ellie out and then I went to meet Rhys for lunch. Mal’s brother Steve and Shirley were having a flying visit to Thanet so Steve stayed with Mal while Shirley went out to meet her friends.
Rhys and I went to Chiquito’s. I wasn’t impressed as they gave me cold uncooked broccoli. I like al dente but this was awful. The waiter took it away and then brought my salmon back and said to start eating that as he recooked the broccoli! It was the same bit of broccoli and quite honestly it was not at all fresh. I won’t be going back there in a hurry. From there we walked to Sainsbury’s, I wanted a new radio and we found a really good Blaupunkt mini music centre on offer, so Rhys and I looked at all the different ones and bought one which was a third of the original price. I guess no one wants them anymore, I do.
We then sat and had a couple of coffees and a nice chat. They are all coming over to us on Easter Sunday. That will be 13 for lunch if Tariq manages to get home. That will be nice.
Later Mal set up the music centre, it has a good sound.
