Rhys and Tariq kindly came back in the morning to resite all the white goods that had been moved. A good thing we had two strong men! Tariq has three weeks holiday from the Marines, couldn’t have been better timing.
I made a roast and a little later Lou arrived with Megan. Ollie, Oscar and Josie. It was such a nice day although we ate lunch in the conservatory, we all had dessert in the garden. It felt just like summer!
I cooked topside of beef and it was delicious and I also cooked liver, bacon and onions as everyone seems to love that too! Of course, for dessert, amongst other things was “Nanny’s trifle” . Megan said it is the best she has ever tasted, so just had to make it again for her! I think it must be all the Creme de Cassis I put in it!
In the evening we watched the best football match I have seen in a very long while. AND Spurs beat Man City and are through to the semi finals!

Thought for the Day – “Every act of kindness grows the spirit and strengthens the soul.”
