We had a lot to do as the carpet man was coming at 9. So, as I am awake early, Ellie and I went out walking at 6.15. It was a lovely sun rise and we walked all along the river.
I was then starting to stress about the carpet man and all the state of the floors and so I went to Westwood and left Mal to it. I really can’t cope with stress well at the moment.
So shopping I went and came back mid afternoon and they were just finishing off. The carpet man had chopped up bits of floor, levelled it off and all sorts. Mal said nothing seemed too much of a problem for him. He is a really nice man who has been doing this for years, in fact his son works with him and he is handing over to him very soon as his knees are going!
Thought for the Day – “No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn’t know it.” ~ Paulo Coelho
