Not so hot but rain was forecast so Ellie and I went out at 5am again. We managed half the walk in the dry but I had my brolly with me.
We then drove into Margate to meet Tris and Violet and visit Dreamland. There is now free entry and you just pay for the rides. Tris and Violet both have annual passes.
There is a small section of events of the past at Dreamland. I love the photo of The Who. I saw them in 1964!!
The rain mainly managed to stay away, just a little drizzle.
From there we went towards the Old Kent market to have some lunch. The beach was filled with many. many west Indians from London. We guessed there was some sort of celebration, cooking on the beach and loud reggae music. We know they were from London because of all the London coaches in the coach park.
We had a very good lunch on the top of the bus in the Old Kent Market. Tris later took Violet back to London.
