We managed to dodge the rain whilst walking Ellie and called at the veg stall for some eggs, celeriac and leeks. They have an honesty box there. On the way back the lady of the manor (Lorna, our landlady) started chatting to me asking if everything was OK. She is funny, she had some scruffy old clothes on and a Christmas pudding hat!
We spent some of the day thinking about booking a holiday but then we don’t know yet when we are moving. We are still waiting to receive the surveyors report!
I think the birds will miss us when we move, they eat so much food from our feeder,……and the squirrels…..
