Just Ellie to walk and so I was up early and we went for a very long walk along the river. It rained in the middle of it so we had to shelter under a tree. I didn’t expect that!
Sadly, in the morning they cancelled the aftrernoon’s Festival events on the Quay. Such a shame there should have been music, picnic, fireworks and all sorts of other things. We planned on going, so instead walked round there earlier before the rain began. I think we had been back home for five minutes when it started. A lot of rain.
In the evening we met up with Dom and Jemma. They are going to travel around India starting in October and were telling us their plans.
