We took Ellie out and she managed to ignore the swans and the green ditch water!
After taking her home we went to Westwood. I managed to spend over £60 in Tesco and so received a voucher for 10p a litre off petrol. We went into Marks & Spencer as I had ordered two dresses, which they didn’t have in store. They should have been there awaiting collection. They weren’t. There had been “some delivery problem”. Of course we complained and ended up with a £5 voucher for our trouble! The lady promised she would phone me when they arrived, supposedly tomorrow. We put the £5 voucher towards their £10 meal deal. We arrived home and they phoned to say they had now arrived….hopeless! Another day.
It was really foggy all day long but Ellie likes being in the garden. I heard her barking and barking and so went out to see what it was all about. I thought she had one of the moorhens that wander from the lake across the road. No, she had dug up a mole. He was a little wet where he had been in her mouth but was OK, just a bit shocked and obviously didn’t like the light. Mal took him into the field where he could dig down again.
