Lou said she had a couple of bits missing for Christmas day and so we took over the things like a couple of chairs. From there we went on to Reculver. It’s usually blowing and very cold but was quite warm for a change.
On the way back we stopped at Sainsbury’s it is hard to know when the supermarkets will be busy but this year it seems fresh food doesn’t have a very long date on it which means you have to keep going back to get things like salad. Yes, it was busy but I managed to get all I wanted.
My niece had a Tesco delivery yesterday and the delivery man told her they have changed things this year and all the long date items are sent for home delivery and the shorter dates are left in the shop….so that’s what is happening!! Perhaps home delivery would have been better. Too late now.
We watched Hammers in the afternoon..they lost and followed by a much better game…Spurs who won!
