We took Ellie out and then the Monday gang from Demelza had arranged to meet up for pre Christmas lunch. Lauren was ill which meant Jack couldn’t join us as he only had two volunteers in the shop who he couldn’t leave on their own. Petro came for a quick drink in the shop but wasn’t staying as he had a swollen face and awful tooth ache. But he did try on some of the ladies hats before he left!…crazy Petro!
So it meant that it was just Heather, Linda and I. We went to the pub just along the road and it was heaving…what did we expect the Friday before Christmas? But we did manage to get some lunch and drinks and had a really good chat which we never seem to do at work as customers get in the way!
Canterbury was really busy and I was glad to leave.
