We tried to take Ellie to the sea at Minnis Bay but her foot is obviously still painful so she only managed a walk on the grass and we decided to put her back in the car, it was too far for her to walk to the sea. She wasn’t too impressed with that. More rest needed for her foot. Of course we were going to take her to Rhys’s but she would be jumping around there and her foot really needs to heal. We left her at home and went over for Oscar’s 8th birthday BBQ. They had the pool out so it was a lovely afternoon in the garden and a very good BBQ. Rhys sent a sausage home with us for Ellie!
A quick change and then I was off the Margate Winter Gardens to meet the Red Hatters as we were going to see Grumpy Old Women with Jenny Eclair, Susie Blake and Kate Robbins in it. No wonder Turner loved the views around Margate. I took this while I was waiting for the girls.
It was a very good show.
We always have a laugh anyway where ever we go!
