We decided to take Ellie to Elgar’s field so that she could just have a wander around on the grass. It is no good exerting her foot until it is completely healed. It is not quite as bad today but she will still have to be restricted.
I learnt this morning that an old friend who sadly had been crippled with cancer, passed away yesterday. Rest in Peace Joe. He really was the salt of the earth.
We enjoyed the garden in the afternoon, both sat out there reading. Later I went to Fat club. For the first time since I have been going I have put on weight, half a pound. I am not surprised I had a huge Thai meal at the Folk festival, a three course meal in Dover (including cheese cake!!) and a lot at the BBQ yesterday. Not my most sensible week, I’ll make more effort this coming week.
