Not a very bright day but we managed to get a walk in, in between the showers. There really are some lovely country walks around here even though they are a bit soggy now.
I received some invoices emailed to me from Avis and we had been charged for an extra day. I rang them and they apologised and said they would put it right straight away. They saw where the confusion was as the car had left their Dover office the previous day but I picked it up from Manston. Good customer service! But if you hire cars, make sure you check the invoices.
In the afternoon we watched the England v Poland football match, can’t say I was impressed.
