I know it is another Bank Holiday but Mal was working again. I watched more of the Jubilee on TV and followed the weather forecast! It was dry all day but said there would be rain about 5pm and for once they were right. In the afternoon I walked to the shops which were all open but not many people there. I walked back just before the rain started and it continued all night.
I have to say I admire the Queens stamina, the amount of standing/waving etc she has had to do in the last few days. As for Prince Philip, what a shame he wasn’t by her side Monday and Tuesday. I guess little fluid intake during the flotilla and lack of “toilet breaks” is no good for anyone of 90!
