Another morning in Eastbourne with Ellie enjoying herself too.
After a very long walk we had a hot drink along the sea front in 2 minutes sunshine!
We decided we would have Sunday lunch at the Castle and Royal Oak and as yesterday’s restaurant wasn’t very busy, Mal decided we wouldn’t need to book. Big mistake! We thought even if they were booked they have pods and a covered shed outside. We ended up eating our Sunday lunch out in the garden. To start with the sun was out and then a really cold wind started and then it started raining! We gobbled our food up and came back to the warmth of the lodge. We should have booked or gone elsewhere. How silly of us!

Back to the lodge to watch the Hammers game, followed by Crufts. I have been 4 times and always remember my mum winning the weekend at Crufts and she took my sister and I. Mum was getting old and we took turns sitting with her during the day at different arenas. We had dinner with some of the judges, hotel accommodation all included. It was a fantastic weekend until we got to the final Best of Show judging and mum said she felt so tired and could we go home. It was her weekend so we took her and missed the Best in Show!!! I don’t think I’ll ever get that chance again.
We had to laugh as Ellie was watching it too on TV!
The last thing we did was to give Ellie a good shower.
