We had our walk with Ellie, all the way through the woods. We both did a couple of “20 minutes slots” of things outstanding and then went out for afternoon tea, which was in fact our late lunch! It was a Groupon deal and we had a 20% off deal so in fact it only cost us £8 for tea for two at Wyevale Garden centre. We didn’t think it would be up to much but in fact we couldn’t finish it. I have to admit to having the clotted cream and scone but resisted the cakes, of course Mal didn’t. The sandwiches were very nice and fresh. Along with this was as much tea or coffee as you wanted. I think the three cups we had each would have been more than £4 for each of us!!
Apart from the afternoon tea, everything in the garden centre was overpriced. It was the one at Chartham and quite honestly, we wouldn’t bother visiting that one again. There is far more in the one at Ramsgate.
