I bought some squash at Ileli and made some delicious soup with it. Of course we ate it when it was cool but it was lovely.
This coming weekend is freshers weekend at the universities. Brings back (bad) memories of when I worked at Canterbury Christ Church University College and it was compulsory to work all weekend. I hated it but we had no choice. All those “lost looking” students who didn’t seem to have a clue about much! Poor things.
In the evening we watched The Life of Pi. I gave up half way through the book! The film is better. We have a stack of downloaded films but it is only now it has cooled a bit in the evenings that we have started to watch them.
