Another meet up with the Red Hat ladies. I caught the bus into Canterbury and decided to look around for an opticians. I went into Boots and tried a few pairs on. I was then spoken to by a lovely lady. No pressure and I told her what awful service I had at Specsavers. She started by bringing the old fashioned slip the lens in glasses to see if I was happy with it, for the new prescription (didn’t have that before!) An hour and a half story short , I have now ordered varifocal glasses, varifocal sunglasses and a pair of reading glasses. She wrote all the details on a form and suggested I went away and thought about it. No, I was happy with it all and so went ahead and I then have 30 days to return them all if not happy.
A good job done but I hadn’t any time to look around the other shops!
We, the Hatter ladies, met up in The Westgate Inn, had our lunch and then on to the theatre to watch “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
