I decided on a surprise Valentine’s breakfast for Mal and so just told him we were taking Ellie for an early morning seaside walk in Deal. We went to the Goose on the Green, very good food and very dog friendly, all dogs receiving a sausage! We’ll forget Ellie’s diet for one day.
I have to say Mal really enjoyed the surprise and the food! I think his appetite has fully returned. The staff made a real fuss of Ellie and gave her a sausage. My Eggs Royal were delicious as well.
We then went for a walk along Walmer sea front, even though it was a bit drizzly.
In the afternoon I took a pot of red roses round for Torin.
In the evening Mal cooked us a lovely M&S Valentines dinner.
