We had booked a slot at the dump to dispose of the old spare mattress. It’s a king size and very thick but we did manage to get it in the car. Well, although you have to book a slot, there were no queues. I can’t say the same about the petrol stations, queues everywhere. Part of the bed base went with us too, the rest will have to be chopped up and then another visit. On the way back, we called into A1 Skips and collected some wood for the allotment. It just seemed a good idea while the back seats were down in the car.
