How lovely to live in this caring community, where the coffee shops/cafes and also Ossie’s Fish and chip shop have offered drinks and food to the many police officers who are on duty around Sandwich. They must be so cold standing around and most have come from a considerable distance, the divers for instance from Devon and Cornwall.
No chance of walking Ellie anywhere near home so we went to Ramsgate. Of course we had our usual coffee at Alison’s.
I arrived home and the postman had delivered a letter from Dover Dental Clinic with an appointment in July! Yes!! I don’t have to go back to Canterbury hospital but after two years I am going to the place my dentist originally intended.
Just for fun we had a couple of bets for Cheltenham. Well, we didn’t win the £300,000.
Well done to the restaurant who handed out 28 portions of paella this evening to the boys in blue.
