A very wet walk with Ellie.
Thankfully the rain cleared by the evening and we went to Broadstairs Folk Week to the main arena to watch Merry Hell. We were surprised that it wasn’t packed out and we even parked just outside! I think people are still scared of going out. So, we sat right at the front, plenty of space to stretch out in the field. We took our own seats and coats etc but it didn’t get that cold.
Merry Hell were as good as ever in spite of their not performing for so long.
Driving back home, everywhere was dead and it was only 10pm!
