We walked Ellie in the drizzle, well it is Bank Holiday!
I forgot to mention that our boiler has packed up. A good thing we have insurance but it was only serviced three weeks ago! BUT the company sent an engineer out on Bank Holiday! He is reporting back to the insurance company, may be a new boiler.
Lou and the kids came round in the afternoon and we walked to the quay, ready for the Duck Race. We all had a duck but none of ours won. Never mind, the money goes to charity and it’s fun watching the ducks.
After all the excitement we went to Ossies for fish and chips!
Rhys was working over the weekend but said Whitstable Oyster Festival was quite pathetic to what it usually is. Let’s hope all these festivals improve for next year.
