A dry walk with Ellie. Someone had fallen over at the level crossing and was lying on the ground. Others were helping but I can’t imagine how long it would take for an ambulance to arrive.
In the afternoon we went to the allotment to take the seed potatoes down to leave in the shed. Some of my rhubarb has started sprouting.
We also went to Mal’s allotment , parts of which are flooded!
We have grown some really lovely kale, tastier than I have ever had before, so we will have to grow that again and I also managed to find some kalettes seeds. I bought them at Wilko along with all the seed potatoes. Kalettes are a hybrid of kale and sprouts. They sound interesting.
