The previous day I received an NHS letter from Maxillofacial. No information just an appointment for next Monday! I immediately contacted PALS with a copy of the letter, repeating that I will not be going back to Ashford as I had explained previously. It was just after I sent the email I realised it was for Kent and Canterbury Hospital! I quickly sent a follow up email. It just shows what a panic I go into after seeing the consultants name!
They phoned me at 8.30 this morning! So, I have agreed to go to K&C for treatment but unfortunately they only have clinics on a Monday, which means I will be missing a lot of work as obviously there will be more than one appointment. She did say she would send a letter with all the dates on and what treatment I would be having. Later our post came and three more individual letters for three more appointments, different dates but for the same place, altogether 4 stamps! No wonder the NHS has so little money.
Mal and I walked Ellie and then went to the allotment. Some of the rhubarb is ready. Lou helped Mal build the new shelves for the shed last Sunday. Now we have space to store things.
We had lunch and then I decided as our lawn was slightly less soggy, it was time to take the honeysuckle out of the garden and take it to the allotment. It was not doing well in the garden. So back to the allotment and planted it and Mal mended the hinge on the shed door and then the rain started!
We ate our first lot of rhubarb after dinner, delicious!
