Well, the rain came during the night which means we don’t have to water the allotment but it must have been a bit windy too because three of my tomato plants blew over in the garden. Tomatoes all over the lawn!
We walked Ellie in the rain but she loved rolling on the wet grass!
We went to Dunkerley’s in Deal for lunch. We haven’t been there for years and as the “Eat In” offer was on, decided to try it again.
Suffice to say it was chaos in there and even though there were only two other tables when we ordered dessert, we had to wait 25 minutes and then had to get up and ask for it. We couldn’t find anyone to give us the bill and then when we managed to get it, we had someone else’s drinks added on to it! I think we will leave it another few years before we bother going back.
