Mal took Ellie and I went to get some shopping. I bought a small table lamp to replace one that had broken and then went on a search for coffee filters as I have been looking for them for the last week. Nowhere seems to have them. I noticed queues had started again, so very quickly bought what I needed and went home! Shopping is no pleasure nowadays. I couldn’t believe the queue outside Clarks shoe shop, I guess all the kids needing school shoes and parents waiting until the last minute in case the government change their minds again!
Well, we had a LOT of rain in the afternoon, in fact some streets in Deal were flooded and several shops closed.
