Ellie and I went out at 5.30, the best time of the day and also very cool. The moorhen was busy tidying up her nest!
I then went shopping and thankfully there weren’t any queues at Aldi or Sainsburys, in fact people seem to think it is all over! They were walking in all directions. Not easy trying to keep my distance from people. I did however find a summer jacket and a pair of wellies at 70% off in Sainsburys BUT you are not allowed to try anything on. When I arrived home, they both fit so I won’t be taking them back.
After lunch Mal went to the allotment weeding and I pottered in the garden and planted three courgette pots for Ollie, Oscar and Josie. They are missing the allotment, so can look after these and hopefully plant them in the allotment when they are allowed back down there.
