After taking Ellie for a long walk I drove to Westwood to meet Rhys. We went and had a curry for our lunch. We were talking about Christmas presents and gave me some excellent ideas, in fact we went over to the shops and I bought Lou’s present! I have now also ordered Rhys’s and grandson Torin. Bit by bit!
In the evening Mal and I went to the Theatre Royal to see Steeleye Span. It was their 50th anniversary and it brought to mind that I first saw them in 1970 at Warwick Uni and have seen them many times since then. Of course the evening ended with a rendition of “All around my hat”. They performed a lot of good new numbers.
