We took Ellie for a walk in the orchards. It doesn’t look as though it is going to be a good apricot season, so many on the ground, maybe through lack of water.
Ellie chased all over the place but we didn’t see any rabbits at all which is unusual. I spotted an oak gall.
They have replaced two fields of orchards with wheat.
In the evening I met up with the Red Hatters and we went to see CATS at Margate Winter Gardens. Let’s say it was OK but it was difficult to actually hear the words they were singing! Plus I saw it years ago in London so this seemed very amateurish! But we had ice creams in the interval. Ladies behind us told us to take off our fascinators! None of them are big and at shows we don’t wear hats on purpose.
