Tariq and Rhys said they would be round early. There was a real hammering on the door and it was Tariq. An old lady had fallen off her bike and was laying in the middle of the road. Rhys was helping her and we brought her in for a drink and to recover a little. She thinks she caught her foot in the wheel. She stayed for a while and then went on her way. Tariq and Rhys continued with the paving.
Mal and I took some of the slabs back as we had too many and also bought some pebbles to decorate the edges.

In the evening we watched the ladies football. Bad defending from England! After that we watched the “Secret Teacher”. It is nice to see there are still some good people in the world.
