I was off early to Beltinge as it was the day to take Ollie, Oscar and Josie to school. Lou and Rhys had their school runs but I saw them in between and Lou and I took the two dogs for a walk to Reculver. Ollie had his walk 6km for water charity in the morning with all his class. I was to pick Ollie and Josie up when school finished and Oscar was staying for Football club. So, Ollie Josie and I went and spent time in the park until Oscar had finished.
We went into the school reception and asked where they would be coming out. I was told that there was no football club! So, I asked if they would find out where Oscar was. Oh my goodness, me picking him up and no football club!! It seems, as their teacher came and told me apologetically that there had “been a mix up”and football club was the previous night but Oscar had stayed for athletics club!! I’m not sure whose the mix up was but in future football club will be on Wednesday night!
Mal has been trying to shrink down some of the photos on this blog as we are changing servers. He has just told me I have 50,000 photos on it. I answered that is why my cameras wear out!
In the evening we watched England’s friendly game. I may have to eat my words but I believe that Gareth Southgate has done well choosing a young team. They did show a lot more enthusiasm than the millionaires we usually see kicking a football and throwing tantrums.
