I went to Demelza and we were not very busy at all. Jack asked us all if we wanted to work next week, the Bank Holiday and we all said no because he won’t be there! He will be working at the Sheerness branch. It was a totally different atmosphere when I worked there on Easter Monday. Even Pedro who only works three hours in the afternoon and also went in Easter Monday said he wouldn’t do it again. I guess we are lucky that the “Monday gang” work so well together. Most of it is down to Jack, the assistant manager as he is a pleasure to work for. He is only 21 but mature beyond his years. The Manager, Loren, has every Monday off so we never see her. Besides, I told Jack at least I had a valid excuse that I would be packing ready to move!
