Mal had his wish come true this morning as it rained! He wanted it for his allotment but it could have been a little better timing as we were in Ash doing a long country walk! Never mind what is a bit of rain? It didn’t last long and later the sun came out.
Roddy’s scratching hasn’t gone away, the vet told us 7 days for the tablets and then every other day, so we are hoping for some sort of build up. Poor thing, he is not happy.
In the evening we went to The Barn at Kingston. It is a really lovely cosy venue in the sleepy village of Kingston. We went to see the Ric Sanders Trio. Ric is a member of Fairport Convention and is the most brilliant fiddle player. The trios music is a real mix and so good.

Simon (Nicol) also from Fairport was on the lighting as he is now the partner of Debs who runs Folk in the Barn!
One of Mal’s ex colleagues was there with his wife so we had a good catch up with them. Excellent evening.
