Lou messaged me yesterday and said she had heard my comment about an election on the Jeremy Vine show on the radio! I seriously thought she must have heard it wrong. This morning I listened to the podcast and sure enough someone has messaged in “Maggie Daniel from Preston.” I guess it must be the Preston “up North” because I don’t think there is another one here. It certainly was NOT me!
We took Ellie to Elgar’s field again. I know she would love to go for a long walk but after a while she is limping again. At least now I can see where the gash was and it is quite huge, no wonder it is taking so long to heal.
In the afternoon we went to Broadstairs. It was very weird weather but thankfully we seemed to go everywhere the rain wasn’t!
I do like Broadstairs, such a lovely beach but very few people using it.
We had our dinner in Prezzo. The one in Broadstairs is really nice, look at the view, overlooking the beach. They do a very nice chicken salad.
