Spring has to be my favourite season but I do love the colours of autumn.
We had a our walk through Preston orchards and the woods. The majority of the apples have been collected and as we past Judy’s house she was busy pressing them for the juice.
I have decided to help out at Demelza’s charity shop in Canterbury and having completed an application form, I had to go in and see the Manager in the morning. I have chosen Demelza’s as it is one of the smaller charities and also because I consider myself lucky that our family, children wise is relatively healthy and I can only imagine how difficult it must be for the parents who use the hospice. Plus, they are desperate for volunteers! The Manager is lovely and I start on a week Monday. It would have been next Monday but we are having the twins to stay for the week.
It was such nice weather in the afternoon that I took Ellie out for a long walk. It was too nice to stay indoors.
We eventually arrived at Mal’s allotment, just as he was finishing for the day.
A sad day when I heard that my good friend Ken’s father passed away and also my friend Glenda in Nashville. Rest In Peace both of you. My condolences to both families.
