Shirley made us a big cooked breakfast and we were still sitting at the breakfast table chatting at 11am! Finally we packed up and left and drove to Devon. We were booked into a B&B just down the road from the Commando centre ready for River’s Family Day the following day.
We were all staying at the same place and in the evening we ate just along the road at Nutwell Lodge.
