We went to Lambousa market in the morning. It seems much the same as it has always been, perhaps a bit more like a flea market nowadays.
We weren’t there long, bought Cyprus Today, nothing to report in that and back to the gardening. I have lavender everywhere in the gardens….love it!
We have to be careful how we weed the garden as it has been left so long. Mal just found these orchids. They nearly didn’t make it!
I also forget how dangerous gardening is in Cyprus. It is now mating season for the snakes so you have to be alert. It was this time of year that Rosie was bitten by a snake. I have also stabbed myself in the face/head three times with different century plants and they hurt!
We really must find time to walk in the mountains and look for more orchids. This is such a lovely time of year in Cyprus.
In the evening we met up with Margaretha and went back to Charcos. Mal and I had pre ordered Kleftico and very good it was too. A lovely evening and so nice to see Margaretha again. I think Mal and Margaretha were having a competition who could pull the weirdest face!
On the way home Margaretha introduced us to her newest dog. He is gorgeous. She now has seven dogs!
