We found some new orchids just starting to flower on this morning’s walk, the pyramidal orchid.
Ellie is going to have a busy day…………..
Well, she chewed and chewed her bone for about two hours and then went and buried it. Later in the afternoon she dug it up and started again! The trouble is she has also dug up some of the membrane, ah well, that’s dogs for you! We have now found three separate burying places. A good thing we have a big garden. Meanwhile Mal and I were out gardening.
She is a funny dog, we were at the side of the pool and she was leaning over and blowing bubbles under the water through her nose. Often she has her entire nose in her drinking water bowl. We wonder if she has some sort of problem as her sense of smell isn’t too good. I know Rosie could sniff out anything but if Ellie loses her ball in a bush, she doesn’t seem to be able to sniff it out. Oh well, we love her whatever!
