You don’t find many of these in the mountains growing wild, in fact it is the only one we have seen!
The orchids are slowly dying off. It has been lovely seeing them all again as the seasons turn.But we are still enjoying them while we can.
Another very long walk, I think our leg muscles will be getting bigger and bigger, some of the slopes in the mountains are so steep and we are both a little concerned about falling over, having both had falls already this year. It’s the coming back down that is the problem especially as the ground crumbles below your feet!
I love this time of year, not too hot yet and all the flowers around and all our meals outside. But the weeding! I restored my herb garden back to a herb garden rather than a weed garden and separated all the lemon grass.
