Let us not forget today is the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
Meanwhile K5’s battle continues in court today
This is Ellie’s favourite sitting position, front paws crossed and back legs splayed apart!
I went to Nultan Oral to have my hair cut in the morning and some shopping in Lemar on the way back. They are selling a 5 litre Cape Elephant box of wine for 28.50 tl. (That’s about £1.65 a litre!! The rose is nice, in fact that was what I was drinking at David and Kenny’s yesterday.
Then of course it was time for the tennis! I can’t say I was surprised by Nadal beating Murray.I was chatting to Mal on Skype when we had a power cut. My laptop was fully charged and so I watched some downloads.
Thought for the Day ……………………………….
In Flanders fields the poppies grow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place, and in the sky,
The larks, still bravely singing, fly,
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
~John McCrae
