Bargain for cricket fans and also a £5 present for Father’s Day (delivery included). Be quick M & S have launched their 50% off sale today!

I have to say BBC weather is very accurate. I can’t say as much for their Jubilee reporting which was dreadful. So, a walk up to the shops and a look at M&S sale and then the bus back and it just started raining as I got off the bus. No problem as the bus stops right outside the caravan park. At least I am getting my daily walk in. I have heard “they” are thinking of lifting the hose pipe ban soon!

An evening with the Channings –  Shirley and Steve came and picked us up and we went to Toby Carvery. We were going to walk but guess what? Yes, it was pouring with rain again! We met Debbie and Dave and Marion up there and having friends in high places (!) they reserved a table for us, they don’t usually do that at Tobys. The place was so busy, the car park was full and there was a long queue for the carvery all the time we were there. You don’t get bargains like this in North Cyprus – £5 each for a huge meal and a free ice cream each with a voucher for another free ice cream on our next visit. Hardly worth staying home and cooking.

Debbie as I have mentioned before runs TAG Pet Rescue and has just opened another shop, this time in Broadstairs. When we had finished the meal she took us over to the shop and opened it up for us so we could see what a good job they have made of it. It was impressive. Well done to Debbie and the team.
