More gardening, at least it is looking a bit better now and we can walk on the paths! The picture is a little (well quite huge actually) monster, I think an Egyptian grass hopper, chomping away at my geraniums. Him and his friends have already serated all the leaves on my rose bushes.
More figs off our fig trees…yummy!
Margaretha came round in the afternoon. She is having problems with her laptop, so Mal had a look at it but it was suffering badly from the heat and kept closing! I have to say I always make sure mine is left in the air conditioned bedroom overnight.
Thought for the Day – I am not bound for any public place, but for ground of my own where I have planted vines and orchard trees, and in the heat of the day climbed up into the healing shadow of the woods. Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup. ~ Wendell Berry
