I went shopping in the morning while Mal sorted all his exam parcels ready for collection.They came and collected the masses of them in the afternoon. We then did a lot more clearing out and dumping things.
Late afternoon Steve came round and mended our tap in the kitchen and then we were trying to sort out a time when we are all in Margate and could go out for a meal. We have things organised and so do they as they are moving house soon. Anyway, it was decided that we went “now”. So, a quick change, round to collect Shirley and we went off to a Thai restaurant I had heard about in Margate. We have kept meaning to try it. It is Yama’s Thai and is at the top of Margate High Street.
We weren’t disappointed and had an excellent evening. What a find it was. You take your own alcohol and they supply the glasses and main courses including rice are £4.50!! Genuine Thai food too. Loved the grafitti in the toilet!
We took 4 bottles of wine with us and then Mal went to the off licence opposite and bought 2 more!! The owner is so nice and came and sat and chatted to us. We came home late.
