There seem to be a lot of Hot UK Deals now in the run up to Christmas, they are all competing for our money!
We went to visit Mal’s sister Marion as we hadn’t seen her since the last time we were back. We then went to get some shopping and also ask Tesco why we hadn’t had a refund on some tree loppers we ordered (from Tesco Direct) and then discovered that they didn’t fold down enough to put in our suitcase. We were told on 20th October, that’s fine, you will receive your refund in 3-5 days. I had sent three emails to remind them and was told “at the moment we are extremely busy” meanwhile if this is urgent call the premium rate number! Erm, no! Even the girl on the help desk spent 15 minutes hanging on the phone to them and then suggested we shopped and then went back to her. It seems Tesco now have a new system in place as this has happened many times! By the time we arrived back home, we had an email confirming the refund.
In the afternoon we started moving some of our things to our “newer” caravan. The site owners also told us that they would move the heavy things for us but it won’t be for at least a week. That is fine by us as it will give us a chance to get the smaller things moved.
There were some good football games on in the afternoon, although Torin was unimpressed with Chelsea’s performance and said he doesn’t even know if he wants to support them now after the way they treated Robbie!
Later the Scarlet and Jack came on the web cam and entertained us by singing songs and doing all the actions. I have to admit I didn’t know the one about the three men in the space ship!
